WMHW Secures Victory to Save Maimonides Medical Center
Walden Macht Haran & Williams LLP has secured an important victory in a high stakes battle to save Maimonides Medical Center. The Second Department dissolved a TRO, which had blocked the Hospital’s Board of Trustees from seeking a deal worth more than $4b in funding for the Hospital’s finances. The Board is now free to pursue the lifeline and preserve healthcare for one of Brooklyn’s largest hospitals, which handles the largest number of births in the city and has one of the few pediatric trauma centers.
The WMHW team was Jim Walden, Adam Cohen, Christopher Dioguardi, and Sarju Patel. In his first court appearance after his run for NYC Mayor, Jim argued the matter.
