Diana represents individuals and corporations in white collar matters as well as in internal investigations, vigorously defending her clients’ interests while navigating obligations to government authorities. She regularly represents financial institutions and their employees before the Department of Justice, Securities and Exchange Commission, state securities regulators, and FINRA on matters involving securities and financial fraud, insider trading, market manipulation, and money laundering.  Diana’s extensive experience includes working on the monitorship of a New York branch of an international bank and representing clients in corporate compliance matters.

Diana additionally brings extensive experience in antitrust and Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) investigations, including those involving allegations of bribes and kickback schemes in exchange for foreign government-issued licenses and permits or contracts with state-owned entities. Her government investigations work spans across various industries, including banking, pharmaceuticals, petrochemical, automobile, multinational retail, and computer components.

In addition, Diana contributes her time to various nonprofits. She has represented indigent clients on immigration petitions for legal aid organizations and helped an international human rights organization establish a program to investigate violations of international criminal law.

During law school, Diana interned at the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York (EDNY), where she helped prosecute drug crimes and mortgage fraud cases.

Diana was born in Brazil and speaks fluent Portuguese.
