Meryl Ravitz

Director of Accounting

Meryl is the Director of Accounting at WMHW, where she brings over 25 years of professional experience as a Certified Public Accountant. Meryl oversees all accounting and tax operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. She also oversees billing, accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.

Prior to WMHW, Meryl held multiple senior-level positions in small and mid-sized capitalization companies in the legal, telecommunications and consumer products industries, including recently as CFO and Treasurer. Throughout her career, Meryl has been instrumental in equity & debt placements, IPOs and the related SEC work, Sarbanes-Oxley, budgeting, reporting, audits, treasury, tax, and human resources. Meryl began her career at a prominent New York-based professional services firm.

Meryl is a passionate advocate for professional development, regularly mentoring her team and promoting continuous learning.

Meryl holds a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from George Washington University. In addition to being a certified public accountant, Meryl also attained her certified forensic accountant license.

Meryl currently serves as the Treasurer of the Board of Directors of the Multiple Sclerosis Association of America, a national nonprofit organization that offers support and services to people with multiple sclerosis (MS), their families, and their caregivers. Meryl also instituted a college scholarship fund for children with MS and/or children with a parent who has MS. Meryl also served as the Treasurer of the National MS Society and MS Hope for a Cure. She volunteers at local homeless shelters, demonstrating her commitment to giving back to the community.
