Samuel’s practice focuses on complex commercial litigation and white-collar matters. He has experience in all stages of litigation and has also represented clients facing government investigation. He maintains an active pro bono practice and has represented transgender clients in impact litigation and detained immigrants, for which he received the Legal Aid Society’s Pro Bono Publico Award.

Prior to joining WMHW, Samuel practiced in the litigation department of a global law firm. He also clerked for the Honorable Reena Raggi of the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and the Honorable Edward R. Korman of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York.

Samuel graduated from Columbia Law School, where he was recognized as a James Kent Scholar and served as Executive Articles Editor on the Columbia Journal of Law & Social Problems.
