Alex’s practice spans the full spectrum of high-stakes matters, from civil and commercial litigation to white collar defense and civil investigations.

Prior to joining WMHW, Alex served for seven years as an Assistant District Attorney in the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office, where he investigated and prosecuted felony cases, including homicide, gun violence, sexual assault, identity theft, financial fraud, and narcotics trafficking. He tried numerous cases to verdict and conducted long-term, multi-defendant investigations.

While in law school, he served as a legal intern in the Criminal Division of the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York, and as a judicial intern for the Honorable Elizabeth S. Stong, U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of New York.
